To most people, there are not many exams in the international curriculum compared with those general high school curriculum.
However, what people don't know is that there are also mid-term exam in Canadian high school curriculum, and also it accounts for a lot.
At the same time, the mid-term exam is also an important way for everyone to check and fill in the gaps, which is of great significance to improve their usual grades in the second half of the semester.
Our program adopts a full set of Canadian high school curriculum system and a diversified scoring system: the total score of each course is a combination of examination score (30%) and daily performance (70%). The daily performance includes the assessment of attendance, class speech, homework, group activities, quizzes and so on. This is very different from the domestic evaluation method, so our students need a period of time to adapt to.

Students apply to overseas universities as Canadian students (not international students) after completing the three-year Canadian high school curriculum.
Since the outbreak of COVID-19 in 2020, the achievements of our graduates are still impressive and gratifying. The 2021 graduates received five offers per capita, including 37 offers from the University of Toronto, 21 from Queen's University, 26 from McMaster University, 24 from the University of Sydney, 16 from the University of Queensland, 6 from the University of British Columbia, 2 from McGill University and 32 from the University of Alberta and 17 from Western University.
Nowadays, both domestic and overseas colleges and universities attach great importance to academic integrity. Overseas universities have very high academic requirements and have no tolerance for cheating in exams. Once found cheating in exams, the students will be punished or suspended. In order to help our students adapt quickly and smoothly in the future university study and life, our program has made detailed and serious planning arrangements from teaching to examination.
First of all, international teachers infiltrate the content of academic integrity into the courses and help everyone master the necessary skills as soon as possible from the aspects of examination rules and citation of paper content. For example, how to standardize the preparation of presentation and quiz.

Secondly, the rules for each exam, including the quiz, are very detailed. The arrangement of examination places is not based on the class, but all students will be arranged randomly. If any violation of academic integrity is found, the score will be cancelled immediately. It is better for students to get up after falling down in high school than to face the result of retaking or even dropping out of school because of academic integrity.

As an important part of student performance evaluation, the mid-term examination has been widely valued by students. Especially for Grade 12 students, the work of applying for university is in progress, and the mid-term examination results are very important for the next step. Therefore, all students should not only overcome the tension and not give themselves too much pressure, but also be prepared for serious review.
