McMaster University is a world-renowned, one of Canada's top universities, a member of Universitas 21 and U15 Alliance of Research Universities in Canada. Founded in 1887, McMaster University is located in Hamilton, a beautiful tourist city, in Ontario, Canada.

In 1930, the main campus was moved from Toronto to Hamilton. The main campus is  an hour drive from Toronto, Niagara Falls and the U.S. border city of  Buffalo, New York. Since the 20th century, McMaster has become one of the most famous universities in Canada for its unique innovation and practical concept.

Four Nobel Prize winners attended this university. In the first-class university ranking in Canada, McMaster University has been praised as the most creative and innovative university by Maclean’s magazine for years. It created a unique problem driven teaching method that has influenced the whole North American teaching system.

McMaster university has world-class laboratories and various advanced facilities. It is one of the few universities in North America with its own nuclear reactor. Its Medical School retains some brain samples of Einstein. The university has 73 members of the Royal Society of Canada, 72 Canadian chief scientists and benefits from the 360 million Canadian dollars in research grants and funding. McMaster University has a  Medical School, which is comparable to McGill University in Canada, as well as a first-class Business School. The Engineering School is among the top six of  universities in Canada.

It is ranked 4th in the medical and doctoral category of Canada by Maclean’s magazine in 2021; THE World University Rankings: No. 69 in the world and No. 4 in Canada.
